Electonics

We offer a broad expertise in concept, custom design and fabrication of complex electronic circuits to meet customer needs.

Starting with a call or a visit to understand your needs, we can suggest possible solutions. Then we can develop the documentation and schematics for you and refine the requirements. And then we can route the board and make it work - so you get a turnkey solution.

To carry out projects of different scale we have formed alliances with assembly houses, modern board houses, and mechanical design engineers. This kind of fables organization allows us for delivering products in quantities ranging from first prototypes to production runs in the shortest time with minimum overhead expense.

We are experts in designing equipment for the semiconductor, magnetic recording, and telecommunication industries. This expertise includes:

  • analog, digital, and microprocessor-based designs
  • circuits implemented in DSP and FPGA (Xilinx, Altera, Lattice)
  • analog low-noise high voltage drivers and high current drivers
  • pattern generators working at picosecond accuracy
  • embedded firmware programming in Assembly and C
  • application programming in Windows

We specialize in the full custom, low volume designs, and we are ready to address uncommon requirements.

Examples

1. High-speed electronic board for DWDM system

A high-speed electronic board was designed and fabricated to be used in the telecom industry. The board worked at a frequency of 10 GHz. It involved:

  • 16:1 Multiplexer and Demultiplexer
  • optical 10 GBps transceiver
  • digital-analog converters to connect the board to a PC
  • data conversion unit
  • three on-board power supplies
  • internal clock

The board was used by a customer in a DWDM system. The design was started from a description of functionality of the board in general terms.

2. Pattern generator

Complete with 32 GB deep memory and serial output changeable to customer specifications. It can work either in a stand-alone mode or be controlled through USB or Ethernet interfaces. There is a provision to synchronize outputs from several boards. There is an option to shift signal edges in the output data stream with accuracy in the picosecond range.
